Nowadays, there are a lot of supporting software programs to transmit wifi for your laptop such as Connectify, HP Wireless Hotspot, and so on. However, there is no need to install these types of software. In Windows 7, this transmission process playback is simpler, but not everyone knows how to do this on Windows 8. Step 1:

Right-click the taskbar on the left corner of the screen, select Command Prompt (Admin).

The cmd window appears, here you type the following command to create the Hosted Network and press Enter.

netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode = allow ssid = wifi key = 8888888

In particular, ssid is the wifi name, the key is the wifi password.

Here you see the words “successfully changed”. Such has been successful.

Step 3:

Next, enter the following command to broadcast wifi:

netsh wlan start hostednetwork

Step 4:

Right-click the network icon in the lower right corner of the screen. Then you select “Open Network and Sharing Center”. After that, you look for “Change adapter settings” and click it. Once there, you will see a virtual wireless network. Notice a bit and you’ll see the name of the wifi name you named in Step 2

Step 5:

Right-click on the network being used, select Properties

Step 6:

In Properties, select Sharing, tick Allow other network users to connect through this computer’s Internet connection.

At Home networking connection, select the newly created virtual network name, click OK.

Step 7:

Done, so you have successfully transmitted wifi on your computer already. Try connecting with other devices. To test the network you just created, type the following command:

netsh wlan show hostednetwork

Step 8:

When you don’t want to use it anymore, type the following command to stop broadcasting wifi: netsh wlan stop hostednetwork.

Note:

When you want to use it again, just type the following command: netsh wlan start hostednetwork

Step 9:

When you want to delete wifi you have set up. Type the following command:

netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode = disallow ssid = wifi key = 8888888

If you want to recreate wifi, do it from the beginning as above!
